i mean really, that would get sooo annoying after awhile, don't u think? i mean, i guess its fun at first to c a little monkey cry about nothing, but after awhile, it would sooo get on my nerves.

It depends. Is there a way to quiet it if it starts to annoy you? If not then yeah, I can see how it would get on your nerves. As an example: Furby was great but his biggest flaw was there was no way to shut him up once you got him started. Not even a volume control. And he was LOUD. A lot of folks sometimes got irritated by my furbys. If this monkey is the same way it might start to irritate certain folks after awhile, but if it has an easy way to silence it it might be appealing to some.
